MusiquePlus, a french-canadian music television channel and meïdia, a Montreal-based studio specialized in innovative client concepts and products have launched an online application called VoxPop. VJs are asking questions to the online audience, and the people record videos online, directly by using their webcam. The best videos are shown on television, each Saturday at the show called VoxPop.
meïdia helped MusiquePlus in developing the concept and did the development work for the VoxPop application. The application is based on the technology used for http://stars-of-the-web.com - which is meïdia's playground for trying new things. The application highlights the great flexibility of Drupal - it was quite easy to integrate the Flash recording application into Drupal, there was no modification necessary on the Drupal side.
